25 yrs Building software businesses run on

Custom applications, vividly built.

ViViD designs and builds custom applications and websites, and modernizes the legacy systems they replace. Twenty-five years of programming business software means what ships verifiably works. Ask the site anything.

Less busywork.
More business.

Software built around how your business actually works, not the other way around.

🧩

Custom business applications

Back-office systems, internal tools and member-facing apps built around your real process: payments, distributions, accounting, reporting. Built to fit, tested against your real data, and yours to own.

🏛️

Legacy modernization

IBM i, COBOL and Db2 moved to modern stacks, with the business rules intact.

🧾

Auditable data migration

Full lineage, reconciled totals, nothing lost in translation.

📊

Data & reporting tools

The manual imports, reports and reconciliations your team repeats every quarter, built into tools that run the same way every time. Check registers, label reports and statements become clean, validated data.

Websites & portals

Public sites and member portals with secure logins, from clickable prototype to launch. Like sound-recording.org.

How we make sure it works

Looks right.
Proven right.

Software that looks right in a demo is easy. Business software has to be right on the ten-thousandth payment, the reissued check and the year-end close. Knowing whether the code is right takes years of writing it.

I've been programming business systems for 25 years: COBOL, SQL, .NET, Python. I use modern tools, AI included, to get there faster, but nothing ships on anyone's word. I test it against real data, reconcile it to the source, and look hardest where experience says things break.

  • Tested against real historical data
  • Every total checked against the source data
  • Edge cases from real experience, not just the spec
  • No "it should work." Ever.

About

Hi, I'm Vincent.

I've spent my career on the systems that keep businesses running: twenty years owning a COBOL application on IBM i, Windows apps on SQL Server and Db2, and the data work that found money nobody knew was owed.

Today I build custom applications and websites, and replace the old systems businesses have outgrown. I use modern tools, AI among them, to move faster, and I make sure what ships verifiably works. Deep legacy knowledge plus modern development is a rare combination, and it's what ViViD is built on.
